Live Saxophone Entertainment Services

Five ways to book Orget, and the honest answer on which one fits your event.

Every booking starts the same way. You send the date, the venue and the guest count, and you get a straight answer on availability and which format suits the room.

Solo Saxophone Performance

One player, one room, no production needed. Solo saxophone works for arrivals, dinners, proposals, intimate celebrations and corporate drinks, and it takes up less space than a DJ booth.

It is the right choice when the event is about atmosphere rather than a dance floor. See the saxophonist Sydney page for repertoire, credits and pricing, or the saxophonist cost Sydney guide for every price range in one place.

DJ and Sax Combo

A professional DJ holding the dance floor with live saxophone over the top. This is the most requested format for weddings, birthdays and corporate parties because it gives you a full night of music without a band footprint.

Private celebrations are $3,000 for the night. Corporate bookings add $2,000 to a solo performance fee. Read the DJ and Sax Combo page for set times and inclusions, and the saxophone cost guide for the full price picture.

Personalised Entrance

A live saxophone walk on, timed to the second, for a couple, a guest of honour or a brand reveal. It is 90 seconds and it is usually the moment guests remember and the photographer uses.

A single entrance moment is $750. See the personalised entrance page for song choices and cue planning.

Wedding Entertainment

Weddings are built as movements rather than sets. The Guests Arrival while people are seated, The Entrance when the couple is announced, The Dinner with the wireless saxophone moving table to table, and The Party with live saxophone over the DJ.

The Signature Dinner package covers the first three at $3,250. The Platinum experience covers all four at $4,750 and includes the father daughter dance and the cake cutting at no extra cost. Full detail on the wedding saxophonist Sydney page.

Corporate Entertainment

Product launches, award nights, gala dinners, client events, conferences and Christmas parties. Weekday corporate performances run from $1,250 to $2,750 depending on scale, and weekend or gala bookings are $5,000.

A current $30 million public liability certificate, a run sheet and an AV requirements sheet are provided for your venue. See the corporate saxophone entertainment page.

What Every Booking Includes

Whichever format you choose, the setup is the same underneath. These are the parts that are already handled, so the night does not depend on the venue getting it right.

How a Booking Runs

Most people book a saxophonist once in their life, so here is the whole sequence in plain language. Nothing starts until you know the format and the price.

  1. You send three things. The date, the venue and the guest count. That is enough for a real answer rather than a brochure.
  2. You get a recommendation. Which of the five formats suits the room, what is included, and one clear price. If a cheaper format does the job, you will be told that instead.
  3. The date gets locked. A 50% deposit holds it, an invoice follows, and the date comes off the calendar for everyone else.
  4. The night gets planned. Song choices, cue times, load in and soundcheck access are agreed with the venue before the day, in writing.
  5. Orget arrives early. Load in, then a soundcheck, and for early events that check happens before the first guest walks in. He does not play a room cold.
  6. You get the footage. Photos and video from the night are shared afterwards where they are available, because the moment is usually the thing you want to see again.

Where Orget Plays

Sydney and the regions around it are home ground: the CBD and Eastern Suburbs, the Inner West, the North Shore and Northern Beaches, the Hills, Western Sydney, the Blue Mountains, the Southern Highlands and the Central Coast.

Corporate work takes him further, including interstate and overseas dates. Travel is quoted separately and shown on the quote before you commit. If your venue is outside Sydney, say so in the enquiry and the travel line is included in the first reply.

Questions, Answered

What services does Orget Sax offer?

Solo saxophone performance, the DJ and Sax Combo, personalised entrance moments, wedding packages from ceremony to dance floor, and corporate entertainment for launches, galas and award nights.

Which service suits a wedding?

Most weddings use the Platinum experience, which covers the guests arrival, the entrance, the dinner and the party over the DJ. Smaller weddings often take the Signature Dinner package, which covers the arrival, the entrance and the dinner.

Can services be combined?

Yes. An entrance can be added to any booking, and a DJ can be added to any solo performance. Most events combine two or three elements rather than booking a single set.

Do you perform outside Sydney?

Yes. Orget performs across New South Wales, interstate and overseas. Travel is quoted separately.

How do I check availability?
